Are Greenhouse Kits Practical?

By Michelle Moore Greenhouse kits are a wonderful thing for gardeners and for those who want to start a greenhouse business but are they practical? There may be those who think that greenhouse kits are a little too expensive but there are several situations where practicality outweighs the expense. Greenhouse kits are practical for those who live in parts of the country with short growing seasons. If you are someone who loves to garden but can only do so a few months out of the year because of the climate, greenhouse kits are a practical solution. This is also true for people who live in a windy, very wet or extremely dry climate. With a greenhouse you can control the environment so your plants dont have to take the abuse of the natural weather patterns. Maybe you have some extra time on your hands and have always enjoyed gardening. If you are ready to spend a lot more time on your hobby, greenhouse kits can be very practical. Gardening is a very therupeutic hobby that has been show to help people eleviate stress and the soft light created in a greenhouse has been known to help people who suffer from seasonaly affective disorder. Lets say you already have a very small greenhouse, one that was built many years ago. It is not in very good shape and is not nearly as efficient as it could be. Would a greenhouse kit be practical for you? A new greenhouse would allow you to continue to garden even in the worst of weather situations. You may be someone who has considered growing flowers or herbs as a business. Greenhouse kits are not only practical, they could be especially helpful and allow you to become a successful business person. There are many occasions when greenhouse kits are practical and necessary, too. Michelle Torres has nearly 20 years experience using and designing greenhouses and is an advid home gardener. Scrapbook Journaling

By Michael Russell Maybe you’re new to scrapbooking or maybe you have been doing it for years. Either way, you might want to consider the addition of journaling to your scrapbooking efforts. Many people enjoy journaling on its own, but if you put it and scrapbooking together, you will create more complete memories to treasure. And it’s so easy to add journaling to your scrapbooking endeavors. Short journal entries can be added to each picture or just specific ones. Longer journal entries can be enhanced with sketches, pictures and other mementos. Perhaps you’re at a loss when it comes to journaling in general? No worries, simply try making lists concerning the theme for that page or the topic/s you want to cover. In fact, a list can be a fantastic way to add journaling to any scrapbook. If you are doing a baby page, you can list baby’s likes and also list baby’s dislikes. You can do a general list or separate lists to cover foods, toys, or whatever. If you’re doing a friend page, try listing your favorite activities to do together. Or maybe make a list of the top ten friend moments. You could even make a general list that includes where you met, how you met, how long you’ve been friends and so on. For a recipe page, try listing the top five reasons you love this recipe. Is it your dead grandmother’s prize-winning stew? List that. Is it the dish that was always served at holiday dinners when you were growing up? List that. Journaling is great for scrapbooking because it is so flexible. You aren’t limited by the list suggestions made here or those that anyone else comes up with. You can tailor it entirely to your own project and needs. Other ways to include journaling are to write letters (This is not as hard as it sounds, many people write numerous emails every day. It doesn’t have to be formal or stilted; try pretending you’re emailing a friend or relative!), have others write letters or short entries and ask questions. Asking questions is most appropriate for when you feel stuck for what to say. Think about your theme and the mood you want to encourage. Also think about why you are creating this page. Chances are if you feel strongly enough about the subject to create the page, you’ll feel strongly enough to have something to say. Having others journal for your scrapbook can be a lovely way to include the kids, your spouse, or even extended family and friends. Is this a group project? Great. Have each person contribute at least a small amount of journaling. Is this for a wedding or baby shower? A graduation? Supply each guest with a decorative or special piece of paper and have her or him write about a special memory concerning the graduate, expectant parents, or happy couple. Or just allow the guest to express his or her best wishes in her or his own words. Letter writing–for guests or yourself–is a simple matter of trying to speak to the subject of the page/event or even writing to a friend or family member. If the subject is not a specific person, try pretending you’re writing your letter to a friend or family member and then tell him or her about the pictures you’ve included or the memory you’re recreating. Scrapbook Journaling can be as in-depth or as superficial as you want to make it. It can take a little space or a lot of space. You decide what’s best for you and make your scrapbook shine! Second Chance To Attract The Woman Of Your Dreams What Would You Do

By Teddy Shabba Have you ever met or saw a woman that you felt an incredible connection/attraction with, yet, for certain reasons (mainly your own) you didn’t make your move or pursue her and those certain reasons had nothing to do with already being in a relationship? What if you were given a second chance to make your move would you do it and if so what would you do? While most men would like to believe that if given a second chance they would do the things necessary in order to get that woman of their dreams. The truth of the matter is that most men when or if given a second chance will either find another reason NOT to make a move or blow his chance by revealing too much about his feelings about her. Of course the reason why is quite simple, most men normally have no idea what they are going to say if they meet the women of their dreams and when given a second chance if forced to make a move will still not know what to say and will simply tell her how he feels about her which is way too much. It is important for men to understand two things when it comes to women you find yourself having a strong connection with. First, understand that when you feel a connection with a woman there is no reason NOT to make your move because life doesn’t always give you a second chance, especially with the same woman. Second, it is important that you have an idea of what you are going to say if you find yourself not knowing what to say, that way you don’t end up telling her way too much and destroying your chances at love or at the least lust. Doctors of the Air

By A H Barbee We met at a Saturday afternoon fund-raising and promotional rally sponsored by a para-church organization. His calling card introduced him impressively. He was the pastor of an independent church congregation not aligned with any denomination, and a radio preacher. They called him “Doctor”. And why not? After the good reverend’s name, his calling card displayed the symbol D.D. for his honorary Doctor of Divinity degree. He was at least fifteen years my senior. For reasons I cannot explain, we became friends. I learned he never attended college or seminary. One day I dared to ask about his degrees. With what I hoped was jest, he quoted part of the thirteenth verse from the third chapter of the apostle Pauls first letter to the young pastor Timothy, which says that a minister “doth purchase to himself a good degree.” So I was not surprised to learn later that his honorary degree was from a diploma mill–the same school from which ultimately earned his doctor of theology (Th.D) degree. Radio and TV preachers, who are typically within the charismatic, evangelical, fundamentalist fold, are not known for having much formal education or having credible academic credentials. Some religious media ministry celebrities are college or even high school dropouts. One college drop-out who conducted a religious radio broadcast for decades told inquirers that he took a few correspondence courses from a Bible Institute but received most of his training from the Holy Spirit. Still he introduced himself as “Dr,” and used an N.D. (Doctor of Nutripathy) degree to promote himself as Dr. in media ministry and as a nutritional therapist. What is nutripathy? Gary A. Martin, D.N., Ph.D., Th.D., D.Sc., who originated the system in the late 1970s, allegedly thanks to divine influence, taught that nutripathy is a religious science of experiencing mental, financial, physical, social and spiritual health using specific universal laws. While no other media minister I know holds the highly suspect Doctor of Nutripathy degree, other radio and TV preachers rely on honorary degrees as the base for their “Dr. title. I doubt that the use of the honorary doctorate and the abuse of the “Dr.” title it conveys has been more popular than among ministers, including media ministers. While the honorary doctorate has no academic standing, because of the Dr title, it is a popular degree among those in some ministry settings who have little or limited formal education. When a featured speaker is introduced as Dr, people who listen to religious radio and view religious TV programs have reason to ask, what kind of Dr the title means: Is the reference to a D.D., (honorary doctorate with no academic value), the Th.D. (doctor of theology), a research degree strictly in theology, a D.Min. (doctor of ministry) a degree based on the practice of ministry, or a Ph.D. (doctor of philosophy), a research degree that adds knowledge to the field in which the degree is pursued? With the information in hand that the answer to the degree question asks, the next would be: What school awarded the degree? Just as it is no surprise that so many ministers, including those in media, seek honorary doctoral degrees, it should surprise no one that some Doctors of the Air are created by doctorates granted that are diploma mill degrees. Dr A H Barbee is a minister and educator. He has served as church pastor, conference speaker, consultant to nonprofit organizations, businesses, Fortune 500 corporations, and professor offering courses in the humanities, management and organizational studies with five colleges and universities. He holds the Ph.D. in Human Resource Development. infocite@yahoo.com Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=A_H_Barbee http://EzineArticles.com/?Doctors-of-the-Air&id=52453 get a loan fast low payments bad credit personal installment loan loan for bad credit fast cash business plan

Healthy Eating for Weight Loss

By Linda J Bruton The biggest problem for many long term dieters is that typical diets often offer boring, flavorless foods. This is one of the reasons that so many people have such a hard time staying on a diet, even though they sincerely want to lose weight. The good news is that a healthy diet doesn’t have to be boring. You can eat plenty of delicious, but nutritious foods and still lose weight. In fact, healthy eating for weight loss is best accomplished by eating a variety of different foods. Here are some simple tips that will help you lose weight without hunger or deprivation: 1. Never Skip Meals. Skipping meals is a sure fire way of failing, no matter what diet you are on. Most people who skip breakfast, for instance, find themselves grabbing a high-calorie snack mid-morning. Or gorging themselves at luch. Healthy eating for weight loss works best when you eat 5-6 small, but frequent, meals during the day. This will balance your calorie intake during the day, help you to digest your food easier, keep you from having hunger pangs, and keep your blood sugar levels balanced. 2. Eat Fresh Foods. Whenever possible purchase fresh foods in place of packaged, processed, or convenience foods. These are often higher in sodium and fat. On top of that, much of the nutritional value of the food is destroyed in processing. People are amazed at just how easily they lose weight when they start making their own home cooked lunch rather than popping in to the local fast food restaurant or deli by their office. Fresh foods are the most important ingredients of healthy eating for weight loss. 3. Check Your Portion Sizes. Keep an eye of the sizes of the portions that you are eating at each meal. For example 1/2 cup of pasta is equivalent to one serving. In most restaurants you will find that a dish of pastas is almost 4 servings! Obviously, if you eat out very often, you’re going to have a difficult time keeping the pounds off. Don’t be afraid to ask for a doggie bag to take any leftovers home with you. When I go out to eat, I quite often bring enough home for a couple of lunches. An alternative is to ask for a child’s size portion instead. 4. Keep Track of What you Eat. Why not keep a food journal? This will help you pinpoint your eating patterns so you can modify any problem areas. You might also want to speak with your doctor or a registered dietician and ask them to review your journal. See if they can make any suggestions which will help you with eating a healthy diet to aid in your weight loss. These suggestions are very simple to implement, but can have a very powerful effect on your weight. Healthy eating for weight loss doesn’t have to be hard or require you to constantly count calories or carbs. Once you take these tips and make them daily habits, you will find that losing weight is a natural process. Healthy eating for weight loss does not have to mean time-consuming menu preparation or boring meals. What You Should Know About Poof Chairs and Bean Bag Chairs

By Reginald Sharp What Is a Poof Chair (Foof Chair)? A Poof chair (sometimes called a Foof chair), is a chair that is filled with shredded, polyurethane foam. A Poof chair is softer than a traditional bean bag. Poof chairs soothe tired, aching joints because there are no pressure points, unlike the traditional bean bag chair. What Is Poof Chair Cover Made Of? Poof chair cover is made of durable wear-resistant and stain-resistant fabrics that are double stitched and double zippered for added safety. How Much Does A Poof Chair Cost? The price ranges from under US$100 for a small Poof chair. Mid-range prices are between US$130 and US$200 for a medium size Poof chair, and large Poof chairs can cost upwards to US$300. Why Should I Consider Buying A Poof Chair? Because they are very comfortable. The Poof chair engulfs your body into a soothing and supple cushion of patented, polyurethane foam. There are no pressure points. You can easily fluff (refoof) your chair again and again for years of enjoyment. What Is A Bean Bag Chair? A bean bag chair is popular form of furniture made of fabric and filled with small chunks of styrofoam or PVC pellets. Bean bag chairs have acquired a cult following. Beans bags, often simply small bags literally filled with dried beans, are used in a number of children’s games involving throwing and catching or throwing at targets. Since the mid 1990s, some companies have begun selling chairs filled with shredded polyurethane foam, charging a premium for the extra comfort this can provide. Bean bag chairs are known to bean bag enthusiasts by many names, such as “Physics Bag” or “Oversized Sac”. What Materials Are Used To Make Bean Bag Chairs? Bean bags today use polystyrene bead for filling. Polystyrene bead originally comes in a sugar form and steam is blown into the sugar to expand it. It is also called expanded polystyrene or EPS in the industry. The diameter of the bead that goes into the bean bag does vary from about 3 - 9mm. However, you can now also purchase micro-bead which is 1 - 3mm in diameter. After a couple of years of use, the beans within a bean bag will become compressed and comfort will be reduced. You can generally pick up smaller bags of refill to top them up. In 2005, a UK based company developed a new style of bean bag, shifting away from the standard blob style to a more stylish designer range of furniture. This style of bean bag has quickly caught on with expats living in London, primarily because they don’t want to buy expensive leather suites to only use for a couple of years before returning to their home overseas. What Should I Consider When Buying A Bean Bag Chair? There are many things to look at when considering the purchase of a bean bag chair. Some of the factors to take into account are size, material, print, filling and price. There is no “one-size-fits-all” solution for a bean bag chair. Different people will find different things appealing, and ultimately the most important factor in purchasing a bean bag chair is whether or not you like it. Moreover, when looking for a bean bag chair, it is important to find one with a removable outer sleeve. These are usually coupled with a water-resistant inner liner which stays on at all times to contain the bean bag filling. With a sleeve that can be removed and washed, you can keep your bean bag chair clean and in good repair quite easily. Whatever bean bag chair you ultimately choose, don’t forget to try it out first or, if you purchase online, to make sure there is a flexible return policy. A bean bag chair should feel as though it is molding to your body when you sit in it - this ultra-decadent feeling of comfort is after all the main reason for choosing a bean bag chair over more traditional furniture. In What Sizes Do Bean Bag Chairs Come? Bean bag chairs come in sizes ranging from the very small to the extremely large. The smallest bean bag chairs are intended less for use as an actual chair than to accompany a full-sized bean bag chair as an ottoman. The next size category are childrens bean bag chairs, large enough for a small child but too small for most adults. Then come queen-size bean bag chairs, which can comfortably accommodate most adults. Finally, there are king and deluxe-size bean bag chairs, which are so large that most adults will be fully enveloped by them, and large enough to accommodate two or more adults. How Much Do Bean Bag Chairs Cost? Bean bag chairs can cost under US$100. Mid-range bean bag chairs cost between US$130 and US$200, depending on size and material. Polyurethane bean bag chairs and designer bean bag chairs with ornate prints can cost upwards of US$300. For more information, visit 1-Bean-Bag-Chairs.com. Body Language- Attract Women Unconsciously in 3 Steps Using Body Language Cues

By Teddy Shabba The funny thing about men when it comes to telling if a woman is attracted to a man or not is it is relatively easy to see unless you are the man she is attracted to. When a woman is attracted to a man there are usually three unconscious displays of affection that she uses to create or maintain attraction. They usually follow a certain sequence with each step taking the attraction further and further along. Unfortunately for men if you miss just one step (usually the first or last) your chances of killing whatever attraction was developing is greatly increased. Have no fear though as I have broken down all three steps for you below; Step 1: Eye Contact- Essentially when you meet or see a woman and make eye contact, she will either break eye contact and not return your gaze (little to no interest) or maintain and keep eye contact (high interest). If you see her eyes looking at yours recognize this as your opportunity to open up the conversation not to gather your confidence. Step 2: Preening- If you notice her playing with or touching her hair in any kind of way or checking her makeup or clothes then there is a very good chance you are at the second step Step 3: Getting Closer- Perhaps the most difficult step for men to pass mainly because it involves the most risk and effort on his part. Yet a man who decides to linger around step 2 instead of moving on to step 3 is going to fail more often than not with women who otherwise would have been attracted to him. In the end going through the 3 steps of attraction using body language is quite simple. If you don’t hesitate climbing up the steps you really don’t give women a chance to not not be attracted to you. Make eye contact, look for the sign, and then make your move and you will discover yourself having a great amount of success with women. When Cellulite Attacks!

By Troy Boyd Cellulite is a recent addition to the English language. In fact, it is not a medical term at all. It’s a term used to describe the way your body appears when adipose tissue forms lobular formations just under the surface of the skin. In plain English the “cottage cheese look” or dimpling that occurs primarily on your thighs, legs and buttocks is a type of fatty tissue. Because the tissue forms in a “lump” close to the surface of the skin it gives it a very uneven and dimpled appearance. It is not medically harmful and it does not cause health problems. What it does do is cause you to feel less attractive when you wear your bathing suit. One myth about cellulite is that it is only obese people who suffer from it. The truth is that skinny people have cellulite too. Cellulite is primarily a cultural and cosmetic issue. Society thinks that smooth, unblemished skin is part of what makes people attractive. People with cosmetic blemishes such as acne scars, burn scars, cellulite or even birthmarks are seen as less attractive. The psychological and emotional turmoil that this can cause in a society that demands the appearance of physical perfection can be very damaging. Can we do anything about cellulite? Exercise and keeping your body toned and in shape have been shown to have a positive impact on the appearance of the skin. A diet that is balanced and wholesome has been shown to have benefits also. Hydration and maintaining a proper fluid balance in your body are also part of the solution. Staying in shape, eating right and staying hydrated are good for self esteem, decreasing negative energy and promoting a positive body image. Changing your perception about yourself may be one of the best things you can do to help with unwanted cellulite. A lot of products and devices are on the market that propose to help with eliminating cellulite. Many of them do not have scientific evidence to prove they are effective. Some may even be harmful if you are allergic to the ingredients. The methods used to prove effectiveness are time consuming, expensive at times and often not understood by the marketers trying to get a product to the consumer. The best way to find effective products and devices when there is a lack scientific proof is to find people who have used the products or devices and ask them if they worked. A good question to ask is “how long did it take to see results?” and “did the cream cause a rash?” In the case of devices the most obvious question would be “did it hurt?” In summary, that lumpy appearance on your body called cellulite is a normal part of your body just as a mole or a freckle might be. It isn’t medically harmful but may make you feel uncomfortable about your body image. It can be reduced or eliminated but you will have to work for it. Some products or devices might be helpful but many are not. Colon Cleansers Basics

By Jeff Foster Colon cleansers are quite simply food, laxatives or procedures, such as a colonic, used to stimulate the bowels into action producing a bowel movement. Colon cleansers are thought by some to provide relief from toxins that fill our bodies while others believe that colon cleaners are nonsense and a complete waste of time. Some even believe that colon cleansers are harmful to the body as the colon itself was designed to handle a variety of bacteria and works quite naturally. For those supporters of colon cleansing, it is believed that colon cleaners are good for conditions such as constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, bloating, chronic fatigue, acid reflux (GERD), and even skin and hair problems. Since most digestive problems are caused by a toxic build-up in the body, it is essential to flush the body of all toxic chemicals. This can only be done effectively with a colon cleanser. In order to establish a healthy colon, you must regularly clean your colon just like you wash your body or brush your teeth. Food or products meant for colon cleansing are designed to cleanse and scrub the colon ridding the body of the toxins built up and ultimately leading to a healthier and cleaner life. Colon cleansing must be done regularly and often since we are constantly taking in more food which leads to additional build up of toxic waste in the colon. A common method of colon cleansing is to use specific herbs designed to stimulate action and the colon and get your bowels to move. A commonly used herb for colon cleansing is senna. It is important to remember that you should not begin a colon cleansing or take herbs without first checking with your physician. The use of senna (at the time of this writing) has not been evaluated for use by the FDA but has been used widely for years in more cultural and traditional settings, as opposed to Western medicine, to deal with issues such as constipation or desired colon cleansings. Besides an herbal supplement colon cleansing other types of colon cleansers include colonics, enemas and cleansing through fasting. Once you have begun a colon cleansing it is critical to begin to introduce good bacteria into your digestive system. This can be accomplished easily by taking probiotics supplements. Probiotics are live microorganisms that when taken may improve the microflora of the intestines. Advocates of colon cleansing believe that once the colon has been cleansed and probiotics have been replaced then the last step is to begin to take herbs, vitamins and minerals and amino acids to completely detoxify every cell in your body. Once your body has been cleansed it is important to prevent your body from becoming toxic again and a healthy way to do so is take a dietary fiber supplement on a regular basis. Other things that help to maintain a healthy colon include taking probiotics, eating high-fiber diet and daily exercise program. So do your homework, talk with your physician and decide if colon cleansing is for you. For more important information on colon cleansing be sure to visit natural-colon-health.com where you will find advice and tips on colon cleansing, and more. Easy Headache Solution

By Azizah A R To those people who do not wish to pop pills to kill pain, this is a good and effective method to consider when a headache comes on. The fingers of our hands and toes of our feet are mapped to our head by meridians running through the body. The right hand and its fingers are associated with the right half including the neck and head. Similarly the left hand and fingers are associated with the left half of the body including the neck and head. The same applies to the feet. If the fingers of the hand were placed in front of the face with the palm facing away from the face, you can determine the relationship between each finger with each of the 10 zones or meridians on the head. The thumbs associate with the center of the head. The index fingers a little distance away to the left and the right, over the inside of the eyes. The middle fingers toward the center/outer edge of the eyes. The ring fingers near the temples. And the baby fingers associate with the left and right edges of the head and ears. When we have a headache one effective technique is to use the clothes peg, preferably the wooden ones, if they can still be found. Alternatively, if you can find some kind of clip that doesn’t apply too much pressure that it blocks the blood flow, you can use that too. Knowing the association between the fingers and the zones or meridians on the head, you can use the pegs on specific fingers to deal with the ache in a specific location of the head. If the headache is on the right side of the body, over the eye or behind the eye, place the clothes peg on the index and middle fingers of the right hand and leave it on for as long as possible. The continuous pressure has a sedative effect and would eventually block the pain. If it is a diffused headache on one side of the head, use the pegs on all the fingers of the same side, i.e. for right half of the head, place pegs on the fingers of the right hand, and for the left half, on the fingers of the left hand. Take a short nap and by the time you rise, you’ll find that the headache is gone! A few years back, the mother of a colleague had a headache for several days, which started with the flu but did not go away when the flu left. I suggested this method. She used the pegs on all the fingers of one hand at first and took a nap. When she woke up, she found that one side of her head was no longer painful. Then she placed the pegs on the other hand, took another short rest and a few hours later found that she was finally head-ache-free!
